What Kind of almond milk should I use?

Generally I recommend using barista styled almond milks because they have a creamier consistency.

Regular almond milks tend to be thin and have a similar consistency to water.

However, if you don’t mind the water like consistency and just want the almond flavor, you can use any almond milk.

If you don’t like the almond milk flavor but want to use almond milk, I’d recommend a mild or neutral flavored almond milk.

What can I use in place of maple syrup?

Maple syrup adds a nice flavor to this drink, however if you don’t want it or don’t have it on hand, you can replace it with simple syrup.

Honey can also be a good replacement if you enjoy the flavor honey adds to drinks.
