It’s great on a Spinach and Strawberry Salad and can even be used as a marinade for chicken.
You may be surprised to find mayonnaise in the list of ingredients in this dairy free poppy seed dressing – I certainly was when I first figured out that this was the secret ingredient.
However, this dressing doesn’t taste at all like mayonnaise at all! It’s the mayonnaise that makes it so creamy, though.

Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
Instructions
- Put mayonnaise, sugar, water, and apple cider vinegar into a blender. Blend until well incorporated.
- Mix in poppy seeds until evenly distributed.
